Once you have registered and have been approved for the auction, you will be able to place maximum bids on the lots you wish to purchase.
Max bid
Once set up, a max bid, also known as a proxy bid, will automatically bid on the lot on your behalf up to the specified amount.
Your max bid will automatically place itself in the existing increments set by the Auction.
For example, let's say the starting bid on a lot is $100. If a bidder places a bid for $125, and you place a max bid for $500, the full value of the max bid will not be placed immediately. As others bid on the item, your max bid will auto-bid for you in the increment set by the sale event up to your max bid value. This allows you to bid up to the amount you're comfortable without having to be in front of your device when the lot is closing.
